I saw them being used as guard dogs in the Russian prison system and they are massive and extremely aggressive.!

That being said I raised German line Rottweilers and they can be pretty head strong and aggressive as well. I strongly believe in extreme training and socialization.I was a vet tech/surgical asst for 17 years and have dealt with many aggressive breeds so I do know what to expect and how to handle issues with firm and consistent handling and corrections. I am not considering any breed at this time but maybe in the future,I am just trying to gain more information on this breed as we do have 27 acres and I spend a good deal of my time walking in them and we do have black bear and bob cats and coyote's so one would come in handy to help protect me while walking. Thank you for all the information. Linda
